Who We Are
We're a small editorial site with one job: explaining Royal Panda Casino to New Zealanders in plain language. How the welcome bonus really works, which NZ bank cards go through, what a closed account means for your balance — the things people search for when the casino's own pages don't quite answer the question.
Royal Panda is run by Royal Panda Limited, based in Sliema, Malta, and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under licence MGA/CRP/237/2013-01. The brand launched in 2014. We have no connection to the company beyond the affiliate arrangement described below, and nothing here is written or approved by the operator.
What you won't find here: guaranteed winning systems, "secret" bonus codes, or promises that a pokie is due to pay. Casino games are built to return less than you put in over time, and we write with that in mind.
How We Research Royal Panda
Every page starts with the same short list of sources, in this order of trust:
- 01
The regulator
Licence number, licence holder, approved domain and dispute service come from the MGA's public register, not from a badge in a casino footer.
- 02
The operator's own pages
Bonus amounts, wagering, cashier limits and payment methods come from Royal Panda's New Zealand pages and terms. Royal Panda blocks some regions, so when the live site won't load for us we work from archived copies of the official pages and say so.
- 03
Game providers
RTP, volatility and maximum wins come from the studio's published figures — Games Global, Push Gaming and so on — along with a note when a casino can choose a lower setting.
- 04
New Zealand rules
Anything about the law, licensing or banking is checked against the Department of Internal Affairs and the banks' own help pages.
When we can't confirm something, we say that instead of guessing. You'll see lines like "not confirmed" in our tables — for example, which RTP version of a slot is live at Royal Panda, which we can't check from a blocked location.
What the Dates on Each Page Mean
At the foot of every page, just above the site footer, you'll find a thin line with the author's name and three dates:
- Published — when the page first went live. It never changes.
- Updated — the last time the content itself changed. We don't bump it for typo fixes.
- Facts checked — the last time we checked the key figures on the page against their sources, even if nothing needed changing.
If "Facts checked" is recent but "Updated" is older, it means we looked and everything still held.
How This Site Is Funded
Some buttons and links on this site — the ones that take you to Royal Panda — are affiliate links. If you open an account through one, the operator may pay us a commission. You don't pay anything extra, and the offer is the same one you'd get going direct: 100% up to NZ$1,000 at 35x wagering on the first deposit.
Commission doesn't buy content. We point out what's missing (there's no free play on the NZ site), what costs extra (credit card deposits count as cash advances) and what we couldn't verify. Links between our own guides are ordinary links and open in the same tab.
If Something Didn't Work
Match the problem to the right place — it saves a lot of back and forth:
- A deposit failed. Usually a bank setting. Our NZ banks guide covers blocks, limits and credit card declines.
- Your balance is in the wrong currency. See Does Royal Panda Casino accept NZD? before you contact support.
- Your account was closed or restricted. Read why Royal Panda closes accounts, then speak to their live chat.
- A game behaves differently from our page. Check the RTP line in the game's rules — casinos can run different versions. Our pages on Immortal Romance and Razor Shark explain how.
- You found a mistake on this site. Tell us through the contact details at the bottom of the page. We fix errors, update the "Updated" date and don't quietly rewrite history.
And if gambling has stopped being fun, please talk to someone. The Gambling Helpline and the Problem Gambling Foundation are free and confidential. Royal Panda also lets you set deposit limits or self-exclude from your account settings.
Questions About This Site
Q1Are you Royal Panda Casino?
No. This is an independent information site. We are not owned by, operated by or endorsed by Royal Panda Limited, and we cannot access or change your casino account.
Q2Can you help me with a withdrawal or a closed account?
We can explain how the process works, but only Royal Panda's support team can act on your account. Start with their 24/7 live chat; our guide to account closures lists the next steps.
Q3Do you get paid if I sign up?
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you register through one, we may earn a commission from the operator. It costs you nothing and does not change the offer you get.
Q4How often do you update the pages?
Every page shows when it was published, when it was last updated and when its facts were last checked. We recheck the key figures — the welcome offer, cashier limits and licence details — whenever something changes.
Q5Why do you write for New Zealand players only?
Offers, payment methods and the law differ by country. Keeping to one market lets us check the details that actually apply to you: NZ$ amounts, NZ banks and the new DIA licensing rules.
